DDisk ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the DDisk mobile application ("App").

By using DDisk, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information We Do Not Collect

DDisk is designed with privacy as a core principle. We want to be clear about what we do NOT collect:

• Private Keys: Your Arweave private keys are stored locally on your device in iOS Keychain. We never have access to your private keys.
• Wallet Passwords: Any passwords you set for your wallets or file encryption are stored locally and never transmitted to us.
• File Contents: Files you upload (especially encrypted private files) are never accessed or stored by us. They go directly to the Arweave network.

Information We May Collect

To provide and improve our services, we may collect limited information:

• Analytics Data: Anonymous usage statistics to understand how the app is used and improve the experience. This does not include personal information or wallet addresses.
• Crash Reports: Technical information about app crashes to help us fix bugs and improve stability.
• Purchase Information: For premium subscriptions and Turbo credits, Apple handles all payment processing. We receive confirmation of purchases but not your payment details.

Third-Party Services

DDisk interacts with the following third-party services:

• Arweave Network: A decentralized storage network. Transactions and uploaded files are stored on this public blockchain.
• Arweave Gateways: We use gateway services to interact with the Arweave network. These may log request metadata.
• Turbo: For Turbo uploads, we integrate with the Turbo service. Please review their privacy policy for details.
• Apple Services: The App Store handles purchases and may collect data according to Apple's privacy policy.

Data Security

We implement appropriate security measures to protect your information:

• Private keys are stored in iOS Keychain with hardware-level security
• File encryption uses industry-standard AES-256 encryption
• All network communication uses secure HTTPS connections
• We follow security best practices in our development process

Your Rights and Choices

You have control over your data:

• You can delete the app at any time, which removes all locally stored data
• You can export your wallet data (JWK) before deletion
• Analytics collection can be disabled in iOS Settings
• Note: Files already uploaded to Arweave cannot be deleted due to the permanent nature of the network

Children's Privacy

DDisk is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
