Creating Your First Wallet

This guide walks you through creating a new Arweave wallet in DDisk.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

DDisk installed on your iOS device

A secure place to store your wallet backup

Open DDisk

Tap "Create New Wallet"

DDisk generates a new wallet using secure random number generation

Your wallet is automatically saved to iOS Keychain

This is critical. Without a backup, you cannot recover your wallet.

Go to Wallet Settings

Tap "Export JWK"

Save the JWK file to a secure location

Consider multiple backup locations (password manager, encrypted drive)

Your wallet consists of:

Public Address: Safe to share, used to receive AR

Private Key: Never share, stored in your JWK file

Balance: Amount of AR tokens you own

Never share your JWK file

Use a strong device passcode

Enable biometric authentication

Keep your backup in a secure location
