Quick Start Guide

Get started with DDisk in just a few minutes. This guide will walk you through the essential steps.

Step 1: Download DDisk

Download DDisk from the App Store on your iOS device.

Step 2: Create or Import a Wallet

When you first open DDisk, you'll have three options:

Create New Wallet - Generate a new Arweave wallet

Import Wallet - Import an existing wallet using a JWK file

Watch Only - Add an address to monitor without private keys

For most users, creating a new wallet is the best starting point.

Step 3: Back Up Your Wallet

Important: After creating a wallet, immediately back up your JWK file. This is the only way to recover your wallet if you lose access to your device.

Step 4: Fund Your Wallet

To upload files or send transactions, you'll need AR tokens or Turbo credits:

AR Tokens: Purchase from an exchange and send to your wallet address

Turbo Credits: Purchase directly in the app for faster uploads

Step 5: Upload Your First File

Tap the upload button

Select a file from your device

Choose public or private

Confirm the upload fee

Wait for confirmation

Congratulations! Your file is now permanently stored on Arweave.
